Update: Photoshop 27.10 has a bug that reads DCS/EPS files incorrectly. We recommend sticking to 27.9.1 or below for now. **Adobe has confirmed Photoshop 27.12 will fix this.**

FROM ARTWORK TO FABRIC

Bold lettering.
Blended color.

The lettering shifts from cyan and white into blue-violet, while magenta fades meet deeper purple tones. Four color screens carry these transitions, supported by the white base and highlight.

01 / THE RESULT

Cyan to violet.
Ink to halftone.

Look closely at the punching bag: cyan and violet accents meet white highlights, while halftone dots let the black shirt contribute to the shading.

More tones from the same screens.

The solid ink colors are only the starting point. Changes in halftone coverage and overlaps create intermediate colors and shades throughout the design.

Key details
  • Four color inks. 7408 C, 305 C, Pink 205, and Blue 072 C share the design’s vivid accents and blended transitions.
  • The shirt supplies the darkest areas. Black fabric contributes the shadows without a separate black ink screen.
  • A variable white base. White support changes across the artwork, helping bright colors stand out while allowing darker tones to use the shirt.
  • A separate highlight. The brightest lettering and punching-bag reflections have their own white channel.

No manual adjustments needed after the separation in InkSplit.
